SLIME CARE
✰ SLIME TIP #1: Make sure to wash your hands with soap and water BEFORE touching the slime. If this step is missed, the dirt and oils on your hands can provide the illusion that the slime is sticky and tacky when it is in fact not.
✰✰ If you have washed your hands with soap and water and your slime is still sticky or stiff, there are some tips and tricks to help with that! ✰✰
Due to the nature of slime, it is normal for your slime to arrive sticky, deflated, or hard. Below are some slime remedies.
Sticky Slime
1. You can make activator (borax solution) by dissolving 1 teaspoon of borax which is included in your order (it is the little baggie with a white powder substance that is clearly labelled). Dissolve 1 teaspoon of borax powder into 1 cup of warm water.
2. From there, you will want to add in small amounts of activator to your slime, you don't want to add too much at one time as this will make our slime stiff! Continuously knead your slime until you have reached your desired consistency.
3. Save your activator solution for future use.
Adding too much activator will result in your slime being hard.
Stiff Slime?
Add a few pumps of lotion or glue and knead. Repeat until your slime is at the desired consistency.
***If it is a clear slime, do not add lotion, you can use the second method for clear slime.***
Cold temperatures can make your slime hard and stiff. If that is the case, place the sealed slime jar in a tub of warm water for a few minutes. If your desired consistency has not been reached, repeat multiple times until your desired consistency has been achieved.
✰ SLIME TIP #2: Wash your hands after playing with slime.
✰ SLIME TIP #3: Make sure to keep your slime in an airtight container when you are not playing with it to prevent it from drying out.
Also please note that due to the ingredients of the product, Slime does not last forever.
